About The Show/Characters

First broadcasted in 2004 as LRPLIPalooza, SOSI J-Pop Stop is an unofficial fan broadcast done by SOSI/Cap-Sid Broadcasters. The broadcasts include new J-Pop music, as well as old favorites, broadcasted by the hosts. Typically, there is also a small plot woven through the SOSI/Cap-Sid produced segments. In the holiday editions, regular Christmas music is played alongside the holiday-style J-Pop. (I mention this because it's typically only the holiday shows that get done.)

The first SOSI J-Pop Stop was designed to take place in fall 2005; when that show was canceled, the first one produced was the now-legendary Winter of 2005 one. Since 2009, the show's hosts have been stable, and in 2011, the show moved to New York City.

The productions of SOSI J-Pop Stop are unofficial, and as such, copyright is taken with a grain of salt. All of the SOSI/Cap-Sid produced sections' scripts, however are still copyrighted by SOSI/Cap-Sid. Subway often puts it this way: "we don't make any money off of this, and neither should you!"

SOSI J-Pop Stop utilizes the OFF/Track Casting Agency, which, save for tradition, is mostly outdated at this point. The characters are often named after and have some resemblance to the roller coasters of Ohio, save for Stardust Flash.

CHARACTERS
(pictures to come)

Stardust Flash: Representative of Emily Ann Imes (SOSI J-Pop Stop's creator), who has used this name in the past, but totally a separate character. The host of SOSI J-Pop Stop, speaks with a distinctive New York accent now that she's completed her move. Tries to keep order in the studio to the best of her ability, but sometimes totally gives up. She's friends with everybody and keeps an unlimited stock of soda in the back fridge. It's implied there's something between her and Racer from show number one.

Sondreia Patricia Von Lichenstein III/Subway: Loud and proud, Subway is the trouble-starter of the group, but she really doesn't mean to. She's just curious, and always anxious for Santa to arrive. Her innocence wins Stardust over...most of the time. If something goes wrong in the studio, Subway is often to blame.

Blue Streak: Subway's best friend and her voice of reason. Blue doesn't always make an appearance, but when she does, it's often just in the nick of time, when things in the studio have reached their breaking point. Blue does keep things organized, but when there's too much stress, she will spaz. She was a special call-in guest in 2005 and made an appearance in 2011.

Tobias Dinn: Toby is Subway's partner in crime when it comes to having fun. He knows if he starts something, she'll join in. They often sing "Bring Me Two Mountain Dew Code Reds" to interrupt shows, among other songs (they notoriously interrupted Horizons in 2006 with "We Are Fighting Dreamers" from Naruto). Toby is a fierce Rhythm Buster 200X player.

Mack Arrow: Mack helps balance out Toby's insanity, and helps Racer lead shows in Stardust's absence (usually when she just leaves to get more soda). He is a dancer and rap artist, and often just likes to have fun, but not at the expense of others, and adheres to the rules to a T.

Racer: Along with Subway, Racer is the other permanent co-host of SJPS, especially the Christmas editions. Cool, calm, and collected, Racer helps man the boards and make sure everything in the show goes smoothly. He's not as loud as Stardust or Subway, but is very knowledgeable about nearly everything, and helps track Santa's progress. While him and Stardust aren't dating, he *did* kiss her at the end of 2011's show, so who knows?

Vortex: A friend of Racer's, Vortex is a fun-loving girl who just wants to be a part of the party. In 2005, she showed up dressed as a chimney sweep to help Stardust lead the first ever Christmas special.

Beastie: If Subway doesn't mean to start trouble, Beastie DOES. Thankfully, he hasn't made an appearance since 2005, in which he debuted the 'Santa Exterminator 2000,' which is basically a glorified blow dryer. (Beastie's always been full of hot air.) All Beastie wants for Christmas is a block of cheese.

IJ: The youngest member of the SOSI J-Pop Stop crew, IJ is a mini-Racer with more curiousity. He doesn't act out of turn, but asks a lot of questions. IJ was voiced by Emily's brother Luke in his first appearance.
